Supporting young people across the Horsham district is a cause close to our heart and so Simon was delighted to be invited to present the Entrepreneur award at the third West Sussex County Times annual Youth Awards, that take place on Wednesday 8th June 2016 at the Capitol theatre.
The awards fifteen categories recognises some of the district’s outstanding youngsters to celebrate their achievements across sports, arts, the community, aspiration and achievement. The suggested age range for nominations is ten to twenty five, but all nominations are considered.
Supported by local academic institutions including: Collyer’s college, Tanbridge House, Millais, Forest and the Weald, the evening features performances from the schools.
No stranger to recognising entrepreneurship, Simon will present the award with his son, who won it last year!
“I’m thankful to Gary Shipton, Editor-in-Chief of the West Sussex County Times, for inviting me to be part of this year’s awards. Recognising young people for hard work, creative ideas and determination, is such a worthwhile thing to do. Encouragement at any age is important, but can be especially so for curious youthful minds. I’m sure to be in excellent company.”
